Reviewed Winamp 5.05

(Updated Dec 14, 2004 09:39 PM)

Well, I lost track of winamp after something like v2.75. The reason was that after that came winamp 3.00 and it sucked! It just didn?t gimme the winamp feel and look that I liked. So while my friends kept upgrading, I stuck to the old version... even installing it on my new laptop! Then along...Read more

My introduction to Darrell Evans was quite accidental. A couple of years ago I went to see some friends perform at a small 'coffeehouse' to an informal gathering. They opened with Trading My Sorrows and sang it again towards the end by popular request! I still remember my friend freaking out on ...Read more

Great style of writing spooks. You nicely wound your experience around your advice. Being a doc myself, I know how tough it is to choose one!! Benji

Just the right stuff to get everyone interested in the guitar. The guitar (acoustic) is my favorite instrument and the Bass guitar is a close second. Nice review.

I'm a regular user of geocities and have my college class page hosted on it. Here are some clarifications for the questions you asked. 1 Using frontpage Yes you can use any html editor to create a web page and then upload it onto the geocities server in 2 ways (a) Goto the file upload option and... browse your comp and upload hte files. (b) Goto ftp://ftp.geocities.com and login and then drag and drop files. Ensure that you have the right paths to your gis, jpgs, scripyss etc. 2. You can use any method of doing a webpage. Their templates are just one of the easier options 3. Yes there are ads. They have options of an adsquare, a banner and a popup. Pretty stad stuff, but geocities ads give more script errors than other servers Hope thats OK to clarify your doubts. You can see 2 sites i've created on geocities http://www.geocities.com/cmc94med and http://www.geocities.com/addicted2jesusbanner (Those long domain names are irritating)Read More
