How is the car now ? what is the maintenance cost ?

I`m from chennai, I have planned to buy a used hand sedan type car, my budget is 2.5 Laks. .
Lancer really attracts me, from my childhood its my d...ream car.
From a dealer I saw a 2000 model lancer diesel . Mileage -120000Kms run ,Single owner
the quoted price was 2.5 L .
I checked the car with my friend`s mechanic. He is saying the engine is in good condition .
The AC cooling was less, car central need to changed.
The high beam light was not working.
Insurance is going to expire this month .
I m really interested in this car , but i m scared of the maintenance cost and life of this car. As this is my first car.
Can I go for it or not ?Read More

Hi,
Thanks for the suggestion. But not sure abt the maintenance cost.
For my budget the got a another car, 2009 model FORD ikon - TDCI 1.4
2.55 Laks. its good condiation (checked with mechanic)
110000 Kms run. not sure what car to go ??
