this is not a review, but some very personal opinions. You don't bother to give evidence.

You've said it all, no further comment necessary. My favourite Kurosawa is 'Dodeskaden'. I don't know if that's out on DVD. I watched it about 120 years ago on TV and am still looking for it. Watch this one if you can. Tina

What a nonsense. Self-absorbed, intolerant, abusing, stupid. This can't be serious, is it?

I really don't want to give a comment, this is just too stupid.

You know what? This movie has been sitting on my shelf for about a year now and I haven't yet watched it. I haven't watched any German movie for years because usually they are quite tedious. Maybe I'm going to try this one tomorrow after having now read your review. Thanks for putting me on your... list. TinaRead More

thank you for that interesting list. Unfornunately, I don't know any of these movies, but then I'm always grateful for such reviews because then I know which movies to buy next. Otherwise I always have to order any Indian movie almost blindly. They are not much discussed here at the other end of the... world. TinaRead More

I haven't seen any of those movies, but I know Roja and Bombay. Sorry for my ignorance: do these movies come on DVD with English subtitles? And which languages are they originally in? Tina

This is just stupid arrogance. Even if what you write about the others is true, it puts you in the same class.

That seems to be a nice list, although I don't know all of them. I am sooo waiting for Kaante on DVD. I was offered the TV series, but I don't know, is it the same? I liked Devdas, too, but, yes, minus SRK and his overacting. I don't really understand your last sentence. The story of Raaz was ...lifted from what lies beneath? What do you mean? TinaRead More

I really like your idea of negative stars, because I really know your feeling, when I dislike something. Pity, I don't know the movie, and since I have to buy every movie on DVD without a chance of knowing it before, your review tells me not to waste money on this one. Thanks for the warning! When I saw the opening I wondered about the small number of Indian athletes. Where Germany came in with some 50 people, let alone about 100 Americans, India had maybe 10 athletes there. With such a huge population. Why is that? Tina

Ambrosia is the food the Greek Gods eat on Olymp (their dwelling place). It should be good. Tina

Try Isle of Jura! Of course that's purely a matter of taste, but I would gladly exchange any amount of Glenfiddich for one bottle of Isle of Jura. Tina

I really love Starbucks, too, but if you ever have the opportunity, try Kona coffee. It grows only on Hawaii and it is worth whatever it costs. Maybe you won't like the first cup, because it's so different, but believe me, from your second cup you will be a Kona junky for the rest of your life! T...inaRead More

This may be late for a comment, I just hope you read it. In November last year, East Germany was no longer communist! And the people speak only a little English there because of the fact that they had to learn Russian at school rather than English. Try 'West Germany' next time! Tina

Nice review. My son and daughter liked the movie, I'm just waiting for the dvd. I read somewhere that Marvel Comics is going to start Spider Man India soon. I can imagine a funny and interesting Bollywood movie on that! Tina

I don't mean to deny that Venice is wonderful and romantic and all that. And surely two decades ago you could very well enjoy all that. It's just too crowded, at least for my taste. Tina
