Like yourself I have the same needs, sitting in front of PC on my SOHO with MTNL Wired BB Connection. I have been using MTNL GSM in Delhi Karol Bagh Area Since 2005, after I dumped Airtel due to lack of ethics in billings and transparency. All my family have MTNL Prepaid only. But recently I am faci...ng tower problem inside my flat just opposite to exchange since 25-06-2016. Complained many times, some improvement have been made in the last 2 days, after BTS Engineer visited home and found 0 signals in his own handset last month on 15-06-2016. If one is not a Serious User[ Used Mobile only for SMS Netbanking OTP's] one can & should use MTNL services for as low as Rs 10 per six months. Not Possible in other operators. As Compared to MTNL Vodafone Prepaid is also equally good. The important info is that MTNL Dolphin is meant to be used & should be used on the road or open area not inside buildings that is what it is meant for. Mobile outside not inside. Update on MTNL 3G Service as On 20/08/2015 In Karol Bagh Area Opposite to MTNL Exchange.After nearly 2 years since Sept 2013, I on 20/08/2015 put a 3G Data Pack in my MTNL SIM for Rs 42/- and received 512mb. The Huawei E303C unlocked dongle after software update for windows 8.1 gave a minimum downlo...ad speed of 380 Kbps @ 02:00 AM with Dongle placed outside the Window & Maximum Speed was 2.80 Mbps. Inside a sealed AC room signals were 3G but with frequent disconnections . MTNL has improved in the last one year but call drops inside sealed rooms continue as ever. Whenever phone rings tower signal will drop to one bar from full 5 bars.Read More

I am facing the same network and call drops inside my hotel room in Karol Bagh Area. Pathetic network of Vodafone inside buildings especially in central delhi, When contacted the Customer care replies that they have adequate towers to handle but signal bars keep fluctuating between 2-3 bars. Never r...eceived constant 5 bar signals. Their 3G data network is in Shambles especially inside rooms. I was using a cheap chinese handset and thinking it to be a handset problem upgraded to a new Nokia 130 but the same bad network problem continues of Vodafone. Will wait & see or else revert back to MTNL.Read More

MTNL is having the same attitude even in New Delhi despite so much competition. There 3G/2G Network is in shambles, and never works inside buildings. Frequent Call drops and disconnections. The 3G Data Card SIM quality is even worse. Claimed Max Speed is 3.20 Mbps but actual no connectivity over 100... Kbps. Still like yourself I use it being a Govt company and is 100% transparent in Billing Systems. Not a single paise lost in wrong deductions.Read More

Your Experience is 100% Genuine. I also ordered my ITZ Cash NoQ 24x7 Card via their Website On 27-Feb-2012 Order # 49478 Order Dated 27-Feb-2012 10:22:36 PM Cash on Delivery. Confirmation E-Mail was received, But till today[10-Mar-2012] still awaiting the same.Delivery time promised in the order was... maximum 3 days. Just see my experience without even ordering anything from them.ASUS R051PX-WHI004S Netbook was shown for Rs 15220/- on the morning at 07:30 Hrs IST of 14-Nov-2011. Just now at 00:47 Hrs IST 16-Nov-2011 the price is reduced to Rs 14670/- How could su...ch a drop of Rs 550/- happen in 2 days. What about all those who bought it 2 days ago from Flipkart. It seems they goofed up the prices. I wanted to buy A USB Keyboard and after comparison went to my Local Computer Market and Got the same USB Keyboard which they were selling for Rs 456/- for Rs 368/-. I posted a comment on their products page about the price difference and also about the features of this product and even gave them compliments about a nice website and low prices and how their website could be used for comparison purposes and their laptop prices were much lower than the local market. Despite complimenting them they sent me a e-mail and deleted my comment stating that comparative prices could not be put as comments. So again think on the actual delivery if ordered. So Better to Buy Dir...ectly after seeing the product with your own eyes than via Online Shopping even it means paying a Little Bit More. I Visited the local wholesale computer market in Delhi and found that the price at which Lets buy is giving it is impossible. That Shop Keeper showed m...e a Lets Buy Bill which was to be shipped to some customer. So Lets Buy Advertises the products and then after confirmation they put the responsibility on some 3rd party shop to ship the item to the customer. Navin, I agree with u. I checked on FK's site on 04-Nov-2011 and the price for Nokia E6 Silver was Rs 15566/-. I enquired at the Country Capital's wholesale mobile market and the price was Rs 15,800/-. Nokia Store Price was Rs 15850-. So FK is playing a Con with people. It is like this. They ...give the lowest prices on their site and put the product as in Stock. When someone orders or a huge order for the same product comes then they contact their suppliers to give them the product at the lower price. If they get it they ship it or else they just cancel your order. the Lower price than the market is just to trap people to book orders on their site. I will never buy anything online.Read More
