Do you know the current prices of normal PC hardware. All of them have crashed you can get a powerful monster for around 30000 (if you assemble yourself) + Win Xp included. With your 60000 Rs i could buy 2 PCs with money to spare. N Mac is still expensive to buy in India. 5 years now and you are still using that Crappy OS. Why do you guys like to lie. You say 98 stable than 2000 and Xp, can you give me some proof. 2000 has one of the best driver collections after Xp so most of the hardware gets detected easily. Xp does not require 512 Mb ram. Speak the tr...uth. Xp runs fine with 128 Mb. Incase if you dont know all computers component prices have crashed. You can get 256 Mb PC2700 DDR ram for around 2000 Rs. Once again Stop Lying and go for 2k or Xp.Read More

dhavalhirdhav Win 2000, Win Xp and 2k3 are not dos based. They have nothing to do with Dos. All the three OS have a program which emulates Dos. This does not mean that they are dos based.

Where do you people get all this false information First of all win Xp doesn not have 3 D look and speed of copying data between 2 HDD's is around 70 - 80 Mbps (ATA 100, 80 conductor cable with DMA)

Cousin2 if you dont know all the features and capabalities of Win Xp then please do us a favour and dont write any reviews. I'll explain or clear out your misconceptions point by point. 1) Win Xp boots faster than 98 if and only if you have enabled DMA and you have ATA 100 HDD with a 80 conduc...tor cable. First get all this and then tell me the time difference. 2) What drivers are you talking please be specific. If you compare the FPS (Frames per second) in 98 and Xp, Xp has more FPS in any game. 3) The start Menu of Xp is much better than 98. 4) If you couldt get the classic look does not mean that its not there. It means that you dont know how to look. Turn on classic look and you will get back 98 like interface. 5) Win Xp does not come with Norton Anti virus. That software has been installed by you computer dealer and it has nothing to do with the OS. 6) All those software which you have mentioned are not a part of Xp, they are installed by your computer dealer. (i say it once again if you dont know how to write then please dont) 7)The feature which irritates you is the Error Reporting of Xp which has been included to make Xp better. There is an option to turn if off but you dont know how to look. 8) I didnt get you Msn messneger problem. Please clarify. N btw that is also not a part of Xp. If you dont want it then you can uninstall it. Win Xp is definately much better than 98 and all other older versions except Win 2000. I dont get your point how did you reach to the conclusion that ATI's graphic card rocks. Just because that company has one of the fastest card for the time time being. Nvidia has released GeForce Fx 5900 which right now is way ahead of the Radeon series. So does that mean that now Nvidia roc...ks. This cycle continues one company releases a card so the other company tries to release a faster card. That doesn not mean that they rock. mouthopen and all those people who say that the Matrix sucked dont understand the philosophy(story) and then they say that it sucked. Watch the movie again and again till you get the story specially the ending part where the creator tells the history of the matrix to Neo. Go figure.
