nah man..not really. Its a way of seech. I just don;t like Hondas and I can see why it outsells all others. My point was that its too common - for a reason. For the record, I like the Unicorn a lot..almost everything abt it.

Ive had the vibration a liitle bit myself but its fine after the 2nd service. a minor crack on the handle bar or the suspension might be a reason. You can try putting rubber lining on the mounts. I also had wrist pain initially but thats from not driving a bike for long I think..its fine now. Im not... sure all these claims of 110+ speeds are accurate. I think past 65/70 kmph, this bike will feel strained although u'll be in control at all times. Also, I agree to someone here that when u get to an incline, you have to drop down on the gear to keep up the speed, especially when ur driving doubles. Its weird, but we have a 60 degree (+) incline for abt 150 mts and when I am the bottom at 55, it feels funny to keep it up but the bike actually does it . From a lower speed than that, it feels smooth if I want to keep it at 40 but you do automatically push the bike when it comes to an incline so try resisting that..just do 40 and it will be fine on the hills. 40 on an incline is good actually. Yea, if you don;t want to feel any difference in the bike no matter which angle ur scaling then get a powerful bike - the Bullet of course - which is more like the Emperor of all Indian bikes :). The FZ is just a Lord.Read More

yea.. and the first 4-6 months of the bike during its run-in is crucial and you dont push it highup during that time. They say better rider - better horse. I ride the hills here all the time and it does fairly well - the power is definitely there. On hills roads with twists and turns, you need solid... braking control and adequate power - not a top speed. The other good thing abt the Yamaha is that it doesn't get whiny when you do 25 in the 5th gear. I mean I enjoy the beat so I go slow and it works beautifully. Not many bikes that can do that. ALso, while Im running the bike in, I can say that it easily goes to 60..I mean faster than anything else from a start-stop. Quite handy when you go from one signal to the next (as you do in any city in India)..in the futire, I can see it easily getting to 85 but hard to get to 110 from 85 (if not near impossible).Read More

I've had the FZ for 5 months now and Im extremely satisfied with it. Its a joy to take it out. Its smooth, quiet yet has a distinctive beat and powerrful when you want it to be. As advertized, it has awesome mid range power and its where a city rider most needs it. Im not much of a weaver but Im...Read more

Its a good facility which is maintained well. Its also relatively cheap. But its ends there - this guy is not an expert. Don;t fall for the cheap rate - the rate is cheap for a reason. I don;t buy the BS abt his daughter - maybe thats true and we salute her for that. But do not put your heart in...Read more
