Hi siddharth412 yeh U R right. I have changed the review accordingly. I am just annoyed about SITI services and mentioned those. SITI is a registered company so should follow government rules. I found that they are fooling customers so I wrote it. Thanks 4 ur advice.

Recently Amazon has started sending items by FedEx and since then nothing arrived in my house. All reach Kolkata from Mumbai, then Fedex update status with 'exception: returning, recipient is not in service area'. I am also a customer of SITI DTH cable tv Kolkata network residing in a suburb town. I also face similar kind of problem with SITI local TV network operators. First of all they have not given us any user subscription form. They have filled and submitted themselves. They do not provide us any bill at... the end of month. I am totally in dark about the package running in my TV. Although from Channel list I assume that it is a 180/- package. Surprisingly the LCO s always ask me to pay 200/-. There is no such package and also told me that if I ask for bill, a 20/- extra will be charged for printing the bill.Read More

This is a very interesting and informative review about energy efficient CFLs.
But as you have mentioned in addition to their brighter sides the other side of CFLs are relatively less known.
1) From my personal experience CFLs last for 4000-7000 hours (PL lamp used with magnetic ballast last l...onger than 10000 hours) and will not last more than 2000 hours if switched on and off more frequently as stated in your review. Interestingly if incandescent bulbs are used below their rated voltages their life can even exceed 10000 hours. This trick was used in past for bulbs used in rail and road traffic signals. So the lifetime factor is not an issue for India where line voltage is far below 240V in most rural and urban parts.
2) Incandescent bulbs do not contain any hazardous materials. But how many in India are aware that CFLs and tube lights contains trace amount of mercury (mercury is a potent neuro-toxin, it impairs brain activities) and how to take preventive measures when CFLs and tube lights break or leak. How many dispose exhausted CFLs properly? This poisoning threat is magnified many folds when millions and billions of people use such lamps in multiples to decorate their homes, throw them in dustbins or garbage cans when exhausted and finally the exhausted lamps are dumped for landfills.
3) Now the question is how many bulbs are used in a single house belonging to a middle class person?? answer is hardly 7/10. Now multiply this with 100 W. The total consumption is 700-1000 W considering maximum usage. A single air conditioner consumes 1500-3000 W. Actually the root of energy crisis is hidden in the rampant installation of ACs in homes, offices, shopping malls etc.
I am not writing in favour of incandescent bulbs. But considering the environmental impact of mercury, proper disposal and reclycing of CFLs, PL lamps and tube lights are essentials which is absent in India.Read More

Alliance Broadband line bandwidth are often stolen by local hackers, local service personals just ignore repeated complaints. How can somebody trust the ISP, which leaves security flaws in network and provides someone internet connection with compromised cyber security.

I have also purchased a lot from Flipkart. Always selected the cash on delivery option. This give me relief from the anxiety, when my order will arrive, or will come at all. Also I check the dealers who are selling the product. Often products at lesser cost are sold from retailers with poor reputati...on. I avoid them. Till now I never had any issue with flipkart materials. But some people often complain that they had received non-functional /damaged product. May be I am lucky somehow. I have also noticed some heating issue while talking, the earpiece region becomes uncomfortably hot. I don't know whether this is due to higher radiation or not. But it feels awkward when your ears feel hot after long conversations. Heating while browsing internet, gaming, is normal.

See my review too. l think you should change your DNS server address with free servers. I found Norton DNS servers with security type 1 or 2 are very efficient to block address with malicious contents. You can also use Google DNS servers. This is an updated review: For few months Alliance broadband net is more or less stable. I am now hiring a basic unlimited connection(Prime package). Considering the price(550+12.36% VAT) it is better than wireless dongles. Wireless dongles charge higher and suffer from 3G/EDGE network issues.

I bought a Bajaj 12 inch exhaust fan a couple of months ago. The blades were imbalanced. The company had tried to balance their weight by putting weight on the lightest blade, but still the fan finally stops at one position keeping the very adjusted balde at topmost position. So, you can imagine, wh...at happens when this fan runs at ~1300 RPM. It makes a grinding sound and horribly rocks during start ups and switch offs.
