Bhavna, would like to lend a different perspective to your thoughts on traveling by Air Deccan - 1. Air Deccan is a low cost carrier - that is - you will not find all the frills that you would typically get with say a Jet Airways or an Indian Airlines 2. Seat numbers - this is effective operations... management - the basis being that typically people prefer some seats - so when seat numbers are not provided - passengers take lesser time boarding and this helps the airline decrease the time for the aircraft on the ground. Albeit, in its airbuses - Air Deccan does give seat numbers - thats to prevent fights on the aircraft ;-) 3. Air Hostesses - bet they are more pleasent than apna chai-wallas on trains!! Air Deccan works on a different business model altogether - get people from point A to B quickest and eat into the marketshare of Bhartiya Rail and this is the business model that will survive. Cheers! UjwalRead More

Starting from the metallic grip with rubber moulding to provide a fantastic grip, to the triple blades, the fins for raising the beard and the aloe ...Read more

Have two idol cousins, who owned KB 100 RTZs during their college days, so was but natural for a guy just getting into college to go in for a KB in 1996. The KB125 was scheduled to be launched sometime in 1996 and waited for about 6 months to get the KB125 in Baroda. Borrowing a quote from an...Read more

Picked the book up walking from a hawker walking from Churchgate to Fountain, to make up for some reading on a lazy Sunday. Contrary to get portrayals of India as a land of snake charmers and elephants, Tully's writing was more of an eye-opener for me, 25 odd years in this country and I call ...Read more
