Quite some years back I read a comment by Mahaswetha Devi. The Literary Icon from my side of the country has the opinion tat films or any form of entertainment to that matter - has the responsibility to point the grave realities of life. Well, NCFOM, MC or even Juno to tat extent paints life on the ...big canvas. But lets face it - its a form of entertainment. And people who live the life of Juno, Michael Clayton - or even Tare Zameen Par, why would they want to stick to viewing movies that would make them re-live the reality they hope to escape for 3 hours. Hence I feel these movies thrive and survive, will continue to do so and should be encouraged to do the same. Oscars are there no to appreciate the noble efforts of the makers of this real life stories :)Read More

Both Anurag and Neil have potential. Good storylines like these would give these actors a chance to set a niche for themselves. Gr8 review. I noted down all the scenes tat u mentioned r gr8. Will b keepin a special eye on them when I watch... :)

Hi Ips, Well ya... it wasnt tat gr8 but still i guess i luved it coz of the 2 lead actors... Katherine is definitely going big now, though after the wedding we have to wait n watch. I wish James Marsden stops doin ones like Enchanted and focus more on better ones - lest we too goes wasted lik...e Chris Pine. Knocked Up was incidentally one of the successful movies of 2007 - maybe not a critics choice but some of us laymen did find it a good pass time on a lame sunday :) Thanks 4 readin it :) Hope a better one from Katherine comes along fasterRead More

Katherine Heigl has come a long way since her days in Roswell. Remember the elder sister of Max - who can walk into the dreams of others and read their innermost thoughts. Well, as a medical intern in Grey's Anatomy and a unplanned pregnent girl in Knocked Up, she had definitely begun to make he...Read more

Thnx ... I feel Bangalore needs some too. Though there is already some local resentment on too much cultural mix from other states (leading to some fears that the kanniga culture is at loss - hopefully no Thackerey rise is in the pipeline), but yes - we do have lotsa joints that cater to the cuisine...s, but a full fledged cultural setting - definitely required. Thanks. Shall be doing so... :)Read More

A bit of histrionic but Forest Whitaker did well... Quaid was wasted. The US President Double was a good take on reality.
