Choosing a Cooking Range

I like to update the comment after quite long time because I feel most readers are reading my comment. I like to explain about the butterfly company's warranty policy. I will narrate the whole story here: We complained to the retailer where we bought the stove. Then a person from the butterfly... came to our house and lifted the stove. He gave a glance of the bottom portion of stove just for a couple of seconds and told my wife that we need to take the stove to the service center. We do not know the contact details of Butterfly. I got the service center number from just dial. They told that they would esquire about the problem with the service person and call back.But I did not get any call. So I called the sevice center but nobody picked. Then I used my friend's mobile number and somebody picked the call and gave service person's number. Service person spoke rudely that he cannot service the stove as it need a 8-10 hours of work and disconnected my call. Then I spoke to service manager. He told that glass models(costly) cannot be serviced at home and we need to take that to service center. But while taking with different persons I found that the warranty just means free service and we need to pay for the replaced parts of the stove. The service centre is very far away and I might have to spend atleast 600 rupees for to and fro journey. Also I have to pay for the parts which are very costly. I was not promised by the service person to complete it within 3 days(then what that idiot checked at my home if he is not aware of the time constraint of repairing the stove). Finally I just throw away my stove and brought surya stove which is 400 times cheaper and high quality. I request the consumers to be aware of the term warranty with Butterfly. Rather than loosing the money I was ashamed that I was cheated and felt humiliated by the rude and irrational speeches of persons from Butterfly. I ca not forget my struggle which I fought and lost for 10 days.Read More

I forgot to mention that I booked a ticket from Theni to Chennai. First after an hour struggle I managed to get a seater instead of a sleeper as they cancelled the sleeper. Then when bus reached Dindigul passengers showed us their tickets for those seats and asked us to vacate the seat. We felt like... ticket less travelers. At least the staffs of Joy bus particularly the staffs of Theni helped us to reach some how to Chennai. The redbus still offers the ticket for the same bus the next day also which is claimed to be in the shed by Joy travels. I think Joy travels sells the tickets for higher rates during the season times through their direct agents and the online booking passengers were informed that the bus was cancelled and they are made to struggle.
