Yes, it is. Addiction is a wrong word, because, it is associated with negative habits difficult to be given up. The right word would be Reading Habit, and the right Review Title 'Newspaper Reading Habit'. I used to read six English Newspapers and two Oriya Newsparers in the morning. After retireme...nt, the numbers have been reduced to two English Newspapers and two Oriya Newspapers. When I was teaching at the Indian Institute of Mass Communication, New Delhi and Dhenkanal ( Orissa ), the first session at 10 AM used to devoted to Newspaper Analysis. My students and I used to engage ourselves in in-depth analysis, highlighting news coverage, placing of headlines, length of headlines, editorials and other articles in the Edit Page, and last but not the least, the Letters to the Editor. The whole exercise was meaningful. Whatever may be the strength of online news repoorting, electronic news is not permanent. Here comes the strength of the print media news. Thank you.

Just to my right on the screen are Reviews by Suyog, Lady T, Calvin, Faisal, ptmomsue, bobo and others. I am sorry to say that excepting the Review of Faisal, others' Reviews contain grammatical lapses, slangs and other weaknesses, which a good Review should not have. We have to constantly keep in ...mind that whether it is a private or personal communication, once it is exposed to the Internet, it belongs to the world at large. Therefore, the language has to be free from lapses. Secondly, rating other's Reviews is an evaluative process. It makes us to stand on the edges of a sharp sword enabling us to be error free.
