If you feel the battery is getting drained, set the Connection mode to 2G, instead of 3G and also disable the data connectivit when not needed. I use the phone pretty heavily still the battery lasts for one full day. This phone is best amongst the lot as of last 6 months.

Another good choice of the late has been TVS WEGO, just check that one before you make up your mind. It has the same metallic body as that of Activa, and also 110 CC engine, but is touted to give much better mileage, It is said that TVS WEGO uses the same engine as that of TVS Star City/ TVS JIVE bu...t it has been tuned for the automatic scooter. Give it a try and then make up your choice.Read More

If you keep the right driving habits intact, I am getting 40+ mileage for Flyte. I can assure that this would be maintained, So far no issues with the Flyte that I have. I wrote the review based on test drive that i had and also with the interaction that I had with the people arnd.

I would advice you to get the rectrifier checked by the dealer, I had same issue with Flyte, despite 3 time battery changed no improvement, finally they checked the rectifier during the 1st servicing, and replaced it promptly, since then no issues with by Flyte. For ladies i think Access would be... a bit difficult to be placed on main stand unless you know the trick of using the stand, which I have been told by my dealer, Hold the scooter erect and then put max weight on the extension of the main stand, and give some lift so that it moves back, once this is done it should be on the stand, with little effort.Read More

I am pretty sure the tank capacity is around 4.2 Lts, I have filled the tank couple of times when I had empty tank (atleast as the guage was indicating), I had filled about to 4 lts on both the occasions (Rs 200/- Litre costing 51.10 in Hyd), even considering empty tank (or almost) I am sure the tan...k capcity is at least 4 Lts. I am a happy user of Flyte, I do agree that even 4 Lts is not good for rural usage. And as for the Key guard, I think in someways its more of marketing gimmick, but it does add to the securtiy of the scooter. As per Dilip Bam he tried using many devices to open the Key guard, but could not succeed, I am sure the burglars would be able to do it, but if it were to be stolen they would steal anyway. Its only for our satisfaction. Also mind me it would take another minute or two more for the burgler to open this, hence more of a chance if he were to be caught. :-)Read More

Dont come to conclusion based on one issue of scooter. I feel sad that the dealer has not been attentive to you. Reach out on jane@kineticindia.com or kineticcare@kineticindia.com, if yoiu dont see any response coming your way. I am sure your problem would be resolved at the earliest. I have been us...ing Flyte more than 3 months now.. no problems with the scooter, I wish you all the best in the resolution of the problem.Read More

Hi Radhika, Go on and grab the Flyte. It is the best scooter available as of date. It comes with all the advantages as mentioned by you. Closest competetors to Flyte are ACCESS and AVIATOR, but when I had test ride and check few things closely I felt Flyte to be superior. Kinetic other produc...ts and FLYTE are different as this one is produced by SYM, not Kinetic, its marketed using Kinetic dealers. As for service, Flyte has put in team which promises to take best care, though I am not sure of it in Nasik, I have been getting best service in Hyderabad. In past have heard from few of my friends that Kinetic people suck, as far as service is concerned, but I have not noticed that at all. They improve the scooter performance when ever I take it to them. So going by my exp I would recommend.Read More

I agree with you that Access comes with Unisex looks compared to Flyte, but I think the problem would be service, as this is the first time Suzuki has entered into the scooter segment and there are not many machanics who are aware of this scooter, and its repair. Definitely Access is one of the... better (if not best) scooters available today. I am sure Suzuki Access and Kinetic Flyte would give Honda run for its money. All the best with the new scooter. Post more on the mileage and other aspects of Access.Read More

I hav been using Kintic SYM flyte for mor than 2 months now, and the scooter has been absolute beauty at performance. Hav completed 1000 KM and enjoying the time on the scooter. I think you made a compromise by going with Activa, Aviator is better, if your choice was to stick with Honda. And re...garding the front fuelling lid, the doubts are completely unfounded. As for the Starting trouble, i never experienced one (except for the initial days where the problem was due to imperfect rectifier, which was replaced in 1st servicing). To give one example, I have started the scooter yesterday after 5 days and it started at first push of the self start (mind me I hav not used the choke). This tells all about Flyte and the trust it builds into the customers. Forget not, its got largest under seat storage, which comes quite handy, also comes with cheaper accessories. Read More

crimsicmirage, I think for you Flyte o TVS Scooty should be fine.... if you are less than 60 Kgs weight then TVS scooty ill be bst choice, as it would give better mileage and is great in handling... Otherwise Kinetic SYM Flyte is the choice. If you are mor than 5'8' then you can look for Access as i...t suits people with good height... As for the resale value Flyte should be giving you one of th best returns. Access might score a bit less on resale but is equally good in terms of handling.Read More

I am turned on abt Flyte, due to its ready availability and good customer care. After rading about Honda and heaing from people on Honda, I think this one is going to take up the pie in the market soon.

Fo Flyte, its not just raving for the sake of raving, we are not giving it anything. it just demands to be raved for the quality and comfort that it provides.

Whatever it be, Honda is truely caught on the wrong foot. See for the reviews of Flyte you will agree. Stop gap arrangment is not going to give them much of a breather, unless Honda comes up with more of value adds.

Congrats Ajay, fo choosing the bst scooter in the market. I fully agree with you on the pickup. Having been owner of the scooter for 2 months I am fully satisfied. Keep posted on the mileage aspect as well. I am getting 45 post 1st service.

I would say that you made a choice of your own, but the truth is that compared to Activa, Flyte is much better scooter, and arguably best in the market. Keeping choke on for quite some distance is not a problem with majority of bikes. As for Kick start in the morning (you being from Chennai and... as I am aware that Chennai is hotter now a days), That shows that Activa is not very suited one... with Flyte no such problems (thanks to 9AH battery in comparison to 5AH battery of Activa). Anyways all the best, take good care of the scooter so that it takes care of you....Read More

Govt. has mandated to mix 10% Ethanol in Petrol, so that it could cut some cost on the Oil Bill. But that mandate will come into effect from October. Now my question why wait till October, why not now... at least from May... why not save 10% of the Oil bill and pass the benefits to either public... or to the PSUs (I think rather than PSUs it would be the private retailers who will grab the opportunity with both hands and will try to get the price pairity and provide us with better service). I wish someone from the ministry reads this article and this comment... Alas many such wishes had been made in past .. but without much happening....Read More

TVS Scooty is a enonomy buster... Its the best for ladies (who are lighter under 60 kg), It zooms in city and is best suited for the city traffic. All the best with the new bike.

I am sure you did not have a look at Flyte, its the best in the market. comes with 3 Yrs warranty, 125 CC, built to perfection. Quite useful features (Mobile charge point, Front fuelling, huge underseat storage). Been using it since last 2 months, had very enjoyable time on the scooter. But all the ...best Datta, having said all abt Flyte, HH Pleasure will be preasureful enough. For others who are yet to choose, check once between FLYTE, ACCESS or AVIATOR as these are the ones with best suspension and ease to drive as of now on the road, while being friendly enough on pocket (as for mileage). As for me I would rate them in the same order as I listed them here. Read More
