Wow....!!! That was my first response....seeing the quickest ever response for my online complaint in www.mouthshut.com. For records, I have created my first ever account in mouthshut.com, 3 days back, just to share my frustration over a dysfunctional whirlpool washing machine and the sad state of a...ffairs of their Coimbatore franchise. Within 24 hrs of my complaint, (precisely on July 30), the TamilNadu Area Manager had rung me up (first time I was hearing from him), asking me the details of my issue. I thought it was just another attempt to fool me around and dint show much interest in the beginning. But when he said he had received a call from his Delhi headquarters, i started listening. He politely requested one more chance. His service engineers (2 of them) showed up within an hour and changed the entire mechanical parts (worth Rs.3500-4000) free of cost. I was shocked (not html language, but virtually). You will understand, since I had lost all confidence and had actually committed to sell this machine to a white-goods retailer for an exchange offer (for a new LG machine) the previous evening. Since he has not lifted the machine till next day afternoon (because of Id-ul-fitr holiday), I could witness all these. So, finally here I am, Just to testify one thing. The machine is working perfect for the last 48 hours. We had at-least 6 wash cycles so far, just to retest its durability. And since I have complained, in this same forum, that my experience with Whirlpool is the worst, I do have the moral responsibility to correct myself, when whirlpool stands up and correct their mistake. and Thank you mouth shut for saving my 15K investment in a new washing machine. And to dear and near ones, If you are serious enough in knocking the right doors, with a honest complaint, I think companies are becoming more and more sensitive to us. CUSTOMER IS TRULY THE KING. I think I should have posted my experience long back, so that many others could have avoided the potential loss....anyway, others please be away from WHIRLPOOL
