Wow, another dairy post, it is a woman thing to do, you know! Anyway I was just thing about super heroes in today's world - do we have any outside TV or the cinema? Makes you think doesn't it? Yeah, I think about it when I wake up every morning - the though goes something like this: "How do I make this day special" and the answer is by making someone else day. It really does not have to be a big deal to do. Let me share with you a few things that I do to make a day special:

Randomly dropping a stranger from the bus stand to where he/she wants to go - on your way to work. The reactions of people are really strange because they firstly do not expect this kind of thing to happen. And do they trust you or do you trust them? I gave up fear and said if something were to go wrong it will! And explain that this is something special I wish to do today to the stranger.

Buy a meal for someone under privileged you saw on the way - no money handed out but a meal. Big small does not matter. It can cost you anything from 10 - 100 but the smile it brings in the end - priceless.

Hug my parents, because I do not have words to thank them enough for the sacrifices they made to make me what I is today.

Use the word thank you even if there is nothing to thank for.

Appreciate someone at work for how they have been supportive in contributing in your organization or team.

Mentor someone who you feel needs mentoring.

Talk to someone who's only friend is silence.

I could go on of things that I do to make a day special and feel like a super hero. I would like your comments on what do you do to be a hero? How are you making the day special?

A page from life

Posted on Jul 22, 2008 under General

32 years old and single feels good to know that no body gives a rats a#@$ about you :) With average taunting looks and a 5'9 inch above sea level height I must get some attention from the opposite gender - you think! Well this scribble is not about how lonely I am in life but how life went by I mean 32 years! Wow - I still remember thinking what I wanted to do when I grew up - and to my surprise I still haven't answered that question. Apart from listening to the radio and watching the fan on my ceiling go round and round I see dead people. Then I have my friends who are a pain of a bunch - always put me in a situation and the last time went something like this:
Jennifer a girl down a block to my house was a hot admirable girl with an ample gradient smile thanks to Colgate gel with crystals. Now every time she would leave her house she would pass by mine - I would sit at my balcony and gaze as if I had never seen such a woman before. I spoke to Raj my
loony friend about her and he said that he too would like to see who I admired so much. An lo with jaws wide open we gazed. Jennifer knew what we were doing and must have thought what nasty boys!
And a day came where I had to face her at a med counter and she broke the ice by saying a 2 letter word - "Hi" and then there was silence...

Worst Employers in India

Posted on Jul 06, 2008 under General

I would really like to read a review on the worst Employers in India, the worst hiring practices followed by organizations today. I am given to understand that the companies are not bad but the people who work there make it a scary place to work - this would be the managers, the management and colleagues that are difficult to cope with.

I see todays youth are highly influenced by the $ offered by the companies and they just want to do a job and are not investing enough time and energy in researching on their career. This makes them a very east pray to companies that follow very bad work ethics and are not employee friendly. I am doing a study on this, any support on the subject would be highly appreciated. Although this not being the right forum to discuss this I hope we can review on the same.
