Hi, Thanx for your input. I'll let the concerned workshop resolve the mileage issue as per your suggestion. As far as the vibration is concerned - 1. i dont ride on the clutch ever. 2. It is not a humming sound but a vibration which is felt on the accelerator pedal - as if the vehicle is dragging ...itself or too much effort is being pumped in to move the vehicle . The vibration is generally more prominent at low speeds even with the clutch fully released. Incidently a few more BEAT owners share this concern. Earlier it was even more but then the workshop guyz carried out some adjustments to the AC fitments - which as per them was pressing on to the body/pedals - and the vibrations did reduce after that , though only marginally.
