::: Why Didn't Goliath Kill David? ::: Mujhse Shaadi Karogi
... to convince me that this one is worth a dekko. Everyone says that while originality is something missing in this dictionary, its fairly hilarious. And I'd watch it for Amrish Puri and the pug!! LOL Later, Asha
::: Tushky Diaries ::: Gayab
LOLOLOLOL Methinks, Prawaal Raman took the lyrics too literally and showed off enough of Antara Mali, that people forgot about Tushky, Gayab or no. LOL Sahi rev likha hain aapne! Transparencies and pokie-thingies apart, I'd like to see the movie for Tushky's (finally materialised) acting. Even... if he is Gayab! LOLOL Did you know Ramuji's Factory (that's his production company's name - how original, na) is bang next to Fame Adlabs? LOL I got this trivia in some site ... waiting to catch it the next time I'm there at Fame. Later, Asha (gayab nahin hoon)Read More
Of Masochism, SFX & Moustaches ... Prem Qaidi
Blessed me!! LOL I should actually get down on my knees and thank Almighty, for the only bit of Harish I have seen was in that Sridevi-testosterone-flick called Army, where SRK mercifully dies within 3&1/2 scenes. I never liked Karishma's earlier avtaars ... too loud and my eyes would hurt.... I liked her after she got her act together on dress, make-up and acting styles ... she was tolerable in the last of the Govinda stocks and from Fiza, Zubeidaa onwards, she is worth being called an actress. Life is a Football Match Hum Tumhare Hain Sanam
And recently, I think, by the freshness of the vitriol. LOL What's left to say? You and SRK = one helluva laff riot! LOL Speaking to statues of horses? Somehow, I have always missed seeing this one ... will catch it the next time, if only for the equine dialogue (monologue?). Later, A...shaRead More

Kicking, Punching your way to Fitness Kickboxing
There are quite a few butts I'd like to kick from here to Sunday. There a few family members interspersed in there as well. Sound tips, let's see where I get with these. :) Self-defense? Moi? Who'd wanna harm poor, harmless me? LOL I got moves for those too, so kick-boxing, here I am ... As...ha P.S. On 3rd and 4th thoughts, no thanks, I'll pass! LOLRead More
The Perverts & The Innocent ... Bitter Chocolate - Pinki Virani
CSA is rampant and most parents do not know or try to play ostrich to this fact. Each and every point you've said is correct ... especially about guilt eating up a victim's soul. I know the feeling first-hand. Try reading Pinky Virani's 'Aruna's Story' ... if you can manage to. Its as shocking... as this one. Later, Asha P.S. Kudos for broaching this subject in this forum.Read More

Wanted to get to it last weekend, but others had other plans for my time! Yep, my time isn't my own no longer. (Details later, if you manage to show up on Yahoo!) Where are the jokes?? LOL Good one. Now see Lakshya and Hum Tum. Asha
::: Agar Main Kahoon ::: Lakshya
Eeeeeetnnnnna laaaammmmbbbbaa rebu leeekkkhhha!! Padhte padhte main almost so gayee!! :) Kidding ... liked the details, though they were a tad too long. I think I'll give this one a miss ... any plans to catch Raghu Romeo? Vijay Raaz has done a good job, I hear. :) Asha
::: A Nosey Affair ::: Ten Best Songs of Kumar Sanu
... in my order of preference: 1. Rim Jhim (from 1942...) 2. Tujhe Dekha To (DDLJ) 3. Tere Dar Par Sanam (don't remember the film's name, Pooja Bhatt plays a screw-loose retard with that other nasal guy .. whasisname ... Roy someone??) For an engineering dud ... oops, dude ... you are ve...ry funny. I have khaandaani engineers around me and I know first-hand how intolerable those buffoons are!! LOL Later, AshaRead More

America America Inscrutable Americans, The - Anurag Mathur
'Hope everything is fine in your end. All is very good our end too. Respected parents sending their blessings in this letter. Hope you receiving them well.' Well, here are my replies: Which end?? Which end?? (Again...) Ok...send Where? Where? ...respectively. LOLOLOLOLOLOL And readin...g your summation made me understand why you started the way you did, even though it still cudna' deter moi from takin' a pahtshaaht (er..potshot) at ya, bebe! Once upon a time in Aroona-Land Tum Bin Jaoon Kahan
... around the 'billi bhaukengi, kutte udne lagenge' part!! LOLOLOLOLOLOL What to say! You, Prem and Suyog are serious gluttons for punishment I guess. And the mind really boggles on hearing the story-line as you tell it ... such sh*t really happens??? Really??? Ooooh, I am glad I have Jassi ...but also sad that she seems to be busy mooning over two nincompoops these days ... one keeps sighing at her bespectacled mug while the other 'use ghaas tak nahin daalta'!! Hisssss... Hisssssss Sheshnaag
I hate creepy-crawlies ... ask my sister ... she'll tell you how high I jump and my voice jumps 3 octaves and sounds like some guy's having a bit of zipper trouble. LOL Anyway, the one and only Icchadhaari movie I saw was that Sri baby doofus flick ... Nagina? Yea, that one. The next one I saw (a...ccidentally, I swear) was Jaani Dushman and that made me laff so hard that I stopped wanting to give myself a hernia from all that exertion. I like your Kekta Kapoor reviews berry mulch ... oops ... very much. LOL AshaRead More

I still read obsessively. My mother believes I can survive for week without food or water but not wi...thout reading material (she's right, as always moms are). This makes her mad (she's right again) as I don't leave it alone (whatever I am reading at the time) till I am done with it! I love to laugh and to make others laugh. While the latter endeavour is more successful, I am not so entertained by what passes for humour in our movies (read idiotic gags in Hindi movies). Still like Doggies, nothing has changed in that department. Still can't stand cats, nothing's changed here too. Still believe in God and aliens (both are NOT mutually exclusive) Still terrified of heights and won't go anyplace where heights are combined with a view of deep water. That's not changed either. Don't have a degree in medicine but love to know more about it, all the same. Most of the people in my life are in the medical fraternity, one way or the other. Happy Reading :). Updated: 14th November 2003 The usual reading, watching movies and telly, yapping nineteen-to-the-dozen apart, I have seriously started writing. Don't bother to ask me what it is, I'm not giving it up at this stage. :) At this stage in life, all I can think of is how much I wanna learn the following stuff: 1. Writing a 350-page book in 2 days 2. Flying a plane without killing me or the populace below 3. Breaking into a safe deposit vault at one of those Swiss banks I must have flipped. LOLRead More
