Very poor customer support
By: akvsaran | Dec 23, 2007  03:45 PM
Hi,%0aI was contacted by a Club mahindra sales executive about its membership. I asked for some references of members from whom I can take a feedback. The sales person was initially reluctant to give. After I assured him that I will talk to their members on their convenient time and I made it a point that I can decide on the membership only after that.%0a%0a He wanted a cheque for 16,000 INR which was the amount for the first installment. I clearly said that this is to ensure that I am serious about the idea and that only after I confirm my decision to him after talking to the memberst that he will deposit cheque. I gave him the cheque %0a%0aWhen I talked to the four numbers he gave over the week end, three were not reachable and only one member was available. %0a%0aHere starts the story : %0a%0aOn monday I see that the cheque has been encashed by %0aMahindra club holidays. When I called the sales executive, the call was not picked. I tried for a week and then called the office. The marketing manager heard the story first and said he will get back to me. Ten days went and no updation. After that whenever I tried to call them he was always in a meeting or on tour and I could not reach him. %0a%0aThen I wrote to the customer relation , i got a curt reply that they have nothing to do with this and I have to settle it with the marketing department. %0a%0aA sales executive is a represntative of the company. How can he cheat a customer like this?%0a%0aWhen a sales manager gets a complaint about his subordinate why didn’t he act on that and gave a response?%0a%0aWhen a customer has a problem and if the customer relations manager does not have anything to do with it, then what is it for?%0a%0aThe end result is that I lost 16000 INR. The more pathetic %0afact is that I told about this in part of techies and almost seven people complained that they too have been cheated / mistreated by club mahindra. %0a%0aBased on my experience and others experience I recommend that nob

To you loss of 5-6 customers is worth a million
By: bom_lion | Apr 07, 2008  09:34 PM (Updated Apr 07, 2008  09:35 PM)
Mr. Raj ( Mahindra)
I am rather surprised. I have always been under the impression that Club Mahinra is a very professional and dependable org. It is so sad that someone parts with huge sums for a dream of great vacations which now apparently lies at the mercy of an apathetic booking staff.

I do hope some concrete steps are on way to improve such a sensitive issue. I imagine Club Mahindra’s stake in doing this could easily be worth millions ( considering your prices a loss of just 5-6 customers would probably be worth a million) and you would probably not even know you lost it.

If Mahindra top brass do not sit up and take stock of things before it is too late then I guess Club Mahindra feel that they now have more than enough customers.

How come every body has same story
By: mandrawadkar | Sep 07, 2008  03:13 PM
It seems club mahindra’s motto is to cheat. They train their sales how to cheat innocent public. Modus operandi is the same. Give some story, make people to pay and as soon as they get payment, CM (mis)management, does not bother. I am not sure Club Mahindra pays to their staff. Probably Club Mahindra sales may be making thier money just by commision they get for cheating innocent public.
