Definitely not the best!! Prospective learners are advised to look elsewhere.

Definitely not the best distance learning institute in India. Frustrating issues in dealing with the IMT CDL: 1. POOR STUDENT SUPPORT: Helpline number 1-800-2001063 RARELY works for students. TRY IT. 9 out 10 times you will NEVER get through to ANYONE. There IS NO two-way written communication.... There is NO email ID to send emails to. The only way is to fill up an online form and god forbid if your query is urgent. They have a turnaround time of 4 working days. Once they respond with a line or two and if you have a follow-up question/or are not satisfied with the answer - you cannot write back. The email ID the response is sent from, is unattended. So, you have to refill an online form again (word limit < 500) - fill your follow up query and wait for another 4 working days for them to respond, at leisure. 2. PERSISTENT TECHNICAL ISSUES: Their online classroom/assignment delivery is full of technical glitches, as highlighted in the review above. 3. There is NO intimation via SMS/emails about the upcoming deadlines; since such courses are meant for working people it is a minimum expectation to provide some 'push' communication, rather than insisting on students getting information from a haphazard website. 4. One is DOOMED, if a deadline is MISSED. There is this FRUSTRATING insistence for payment of reappearing fees via demand drafts DD. Because of this rather ARCHAIC insistence on DD payment method, many students miss their deadlines. If one gets delayed in getting draft made for any reason (work-related travel, bank holidays, arrival of a baby), one would have already missed the payment window, and will get delayed by as much as a semester. Really IMT? In this time and age, you could surely do better. Heard of something called online payments? IMT CDL care very little about their students. Only MONEY!!Read More

I echo the problems outlined here, only that I was enrolled with IMT CDL directly. But yet to complete it. So, a one year course started in 2014 is still pending. I will highlight some really frustrating issues in dealing with the IMT CDL: 1. POOR STUDENT SUPPORT: Helpline number 1-800-2001063 RA...RELY works for students. TRY IT. 9 out 10 times you will NEVER get through to ANYONE. There IS NO two-way written communication. There is NO email ID to send emails to. Please don't bother with IMT CDL. The review above cite a simple issue. A one year course started may even take 2-3 years if you had missed any deadlines. I will highlight some really frustrating issues in dealing with the IMT CDL: 1. Their student helpline number 1-800-2001063 RARELY works for e...xisting students. TRY IT. 9 out 10 times you will NEVER get through to ANYONE. 2. Their online classroom delivery is full of technical glitches 3. The online student support system SIS is also poorly structured and it is often difficult to locate information 4. There is NO initmation via SMS/emails about the upcoming deadlines; since such courses are meant for working people it is a minimum expectation to provide some 'push' communication, rather than insisting on students getting information from a haphazard website. 5. If one misses a deadline, one is DOOMED. There is this FRUSTRATING insistence for payment of reappearing fees via DD. In one instance, when I wanted to reappear fee for an assignment, I was told to get a DD made and sent the next day. How do you expect me to send a DD by the next day? Really? As a working individual, I am often travelling. Often, I would not have the time to go get a DD made. Because of this rather ARCHAIC insistence on DD payment method, I had missed several deadlines. You are doomed if your bank insist on cheques for DD. So, if you don't have a chequebook, be prepared for a few months lost. Because by the time your chequbook arrives, you'd have already missed the payment window. There is more trouble if you are travelling. 6. They always keep changing their POCs (a human point of contact). First it was Anita Mathew, then Tushar Marwaha, then a very rude guy called Manish Sharma (it was clear that he really hated his job), and now Nidhi Mathur, who barely responds. Don't bother with IMTCDL!Read More

Please don't bother with IMT CDL based on this review. A one year course started may even take 2-3 years if you had missed any deadlines. I will highlight some really frustrating issues in dealing with the IMT CDL: 1. Their student helpline number 1-800-2001063 RARELY works for existing students.... 5. In absence of a regular PoC, one feels very helpless. Don't bother with IMTCDL. PLEASE!Read More

There is another MAJOR frustrating aspect of communicating in the written form with IMT CDL. There IS NO WAY of two-way communication. There is NO email ID to send an email to. The only way to write a query is to fill up an online form and god forbid if your query is urgent. They have a turnaroun...d time of 4 working days. Once they respond with a line or two and if you have a follow-up question/or are not satisfied with the answer - you cannot write back. You cannot, as the email ID the email is sent from, is unattended. So, you have to refill an online form again - which has a word limit - so you cannot enter the previous text - fill your follow up query and wait for another 4 working days for them to respond at leisure. IMT CDL care very little about their students. They are a business like any other, only in it for the purpose of making money.Read More

I am also in a similar boat, but my problem is slightly different. I missed several deadlines because there is little 'human' support available. There are no intimations whatsoever.
