Association infighting is normal because of ego issues. You can't find even one association without infighting.
By the way if you thought association was wrong in raising the charges, you could have raised the issue in AGM. Better still, you could have joined the EC and tried to contribute. Hello Ms. Priya,
My children too study at DAV Adambakkam, daughter in 5th std. and son in LKG. I have very much the same opinion as you - children are taught to be well mannered, and teachers are helpful too.
srmmbarpm - my son's LKG class has 42 kids (i just checked his class photograph whic...h arrived today :) and nearly the same were in his pre-kg too. This is not a small class, but cannot say it is overcrowding.
But i do have a few complaints too:
1. size of the school bag - i find it difficult to lift it with both hands, my daughter carries it on her shoulder daily. there are some 12-15 books and same manner of notebooks.
2. exam days and leave days are not well planned and informed in advance thru the school diary - we cannot plan our vacations with any amount of certainty (i am only talking about mid term / half yearly holidays, because annual holidays are mostly similar across schools.
Still i would gladly recommend DAV to any one who asks me.
3. the school teachers, though they are good at their job, DRIVE too rashly. I know couple of teachers who drive their mopeds like they are on a racetrack, and they never lift their fingers off the horn. how do you expect their students to drive in future?
