I had mixed feelings when I first heard the album. Jatin-Lalit were my most music composer until ARR came along :) You cannot deny the songs the duo has composed in the past -- it was classic IMO, and I was kind of anticipating that same melodious magic in their last album together, Fanaa. Unf...ortunately, they didn't have that trademark in their songs like they usually do, but I wasn't disappointed with the songs they composed for this album. I am satisfied, and I love Chand Sifarish, Mere Haath Mein and Dekho Na. All three songs are exceptional. Lovely review as always Suresh, I was waiting for your thoughts, and I do agree with some parts you have said about J-L's work. -- NaureenRead More

Happy to hear that you love this album! I love the songs so much, this is one of those rare albums you can never tire of. Sunidhi Chauhan really has surprised me stepping away from the hangama songs to soulful music. She shines in every songs in this album. Sandesh Sandilya is indeed an u...nderrated composer. He is the one who composed 'Suraj Hua Maddham' from K3G, the only decent song from that album. Great music review as always. - NaureenRead More

Again, great to hear the positive reviews everywhere! I knew Amisha would be the weak-point of the film. I really enjoy reading your reviews as you point out some important scenes of the film in which one can remember forever. Thank you for making my day :) - Naureen

Liked your analysis of the songs. I also agreed with your comments on Ismail Darbar.... He stole so much from Rahman.

But I know for sure that this movie will be 100 times better than Bhansali's horrible film, Devdas.

I haven't seen this movie yet, and I wanted to.. But after reading your well-written review, I will wait for the DVD.. I can't believe from the majority of the people here in MS, B&B is on the same league as Kaal! Is it that bad? WOW...

You are right! I did like this review! In fact, I loved it because your introduction has truly spoken the meanings of movies in India, and the classification as well... I have seen only two of Basu Chatterjee's films and those are Khatta Meetha and Apne Paraye. Apne Paraye is such a heartwarming ...film, and I loved it so much. I am looking forward to see more of Chatterjee's classics. Thank you for the great filmography, and once again, a wonderful review! :) - NaureenRead More
